Betrouni Calls For Saadane’s Resignation

Former Algerian international Omar Betrouni has called for the resignation of national coach Rabah Saadane ahead of the crucial 2010 World Cup/Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Egypt on June 7.
Saadane has been largely derided in Algeria for shedding tears in a press conference last week, complaining of the pressure he felt leading the team into the game against The Pharaohs.
"I think it’s time he leaves," Betrouni said.
"I don’t understand why he came back to the team after leaving his post and now he’s cracked ahead of such an important match."
